The Executive Committee is pleased to bring back the popular “Book an Author” event, making it even better this year. Emerging authors will have the length of the festival to share their stories!
What is "Book an Author?"
We have reserved a special tent for the entire day to give a select number of authors the chance to put their books in front of a group of avid readers and book club organizers in an exhibit-style format.
You will have the opportunity to man your book table, interact with readers, sell your own books, and make a 10-minute presentation of your book: this can be a description of your work, the reading of an excerpt, or both. We are not limiting the number of titles you may sell, but your merchandise MUST fit within the space you have purchased. If you plan to leave your table during the festival, please make sure you have coverage.
The genres of books that will be considered for selection include: Fiction (mysteries, thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, historical fiction, regional fiction, etc), non-fiction (history, biographies, and memoirs), poetry, travel, the arts, cookbooks, juvenile fiction/non-fiction, and young adult fiction/non-fiction.
